Having done a lot of research in this class, I found Evernote and the Evernote Web Clipper to be extremely helpful. Instead of having to save a website to my favorites, or having to search for it multiple times, I just clipped it in Evernote and it was there when I needed it. It was easy to sort things by using tags and making notebooks. Evernote was especially helpful during the context reports and final project. I was looking up lots of information and it was so easy to organize it in Evernote.

I was also able to use Evernote for some of my other classes as well. I had to do a couple of research papers and it was nice to be able to organize all the information I collected from the websites in one place. Instead of flipping through multiple websites, I was able to locate the one that I needed and then access it for the information that I needed. In addition, I was able to use Evernote to organize things for other classes that I would need for future reference. Things like online resources or tools, and things that I would need to aid me in completing my homework.

Since I am an education major, I believe that I will definitely be using Evernote in the future to help me with my teaching. It is easy to store everything that I would need for lesson plans, project ideas, etc. I would separate everything by language first, then group according to topic and finally by level. I would have quick access to thousands of resources for my students, and lesson planning would be easy.

Viewing notes as a lasting resource will help me with the courses I will take for my major. I can use Evernote to build on what I already know, and expand on the knowledge that I have. Evernote is perfect for college students because it is a way for them to store notes and resources in one place that they can access everywhere. Your notes are always with you, and that is what makes Evernote so unique.
